Volunteer

At Heart Forward LA, we believe that individual and systemic transformation is possible! Our wonderful volunteers work with us to practice Radical Hospitality in community places where people with mental health conditions live and congregate. This process has the power to transform not only those with whom it is being shared, but with those sharing it.

Volunteers use gardening, cooking, art, games, and movement in order to build relationships. While we engage people in these activities with enriching and therapeutic effects, we strive to cultivate deeper connections and come alongside people to create a space where transformation takes root.
